Today's the day

Index-Card-A-Day starts today!

I've decided to focus on collage for my index cards this year, since I'm still fully intending to keep up with my 365 collages in 2013 challenge (even though I stopped making collages in mid-April)

After a six week collage hiatus, it's almost like I've forgotten how to do it.  ICAD will be good for me - small format, not precious, just do it.

Here's my first official card of the year:

(sadly obvious that I've been reading this book again for inspiration)

and since I won't catch up on the 35 collages I've missed by doing just one a day, here's my second one.  (also done on an index card)

oooh, I absolutely love ICAD.

  4. You go, girl. I'm still trying to get my act together to do one of your awesome swaps. I'm thinking I should do this ICAD thing, though. Let me drink a beer and think about it...LOL.

  6. Yay! I'm on board for ICAD again this year, too, and am really enjoying the small, non-precious format myself. Tonight I was messing around with colored markers, and thoroughly enjoying myself!

  7. I am doing collage on mine this year as well. I love your first two! I will be following your cards closely. Collage scares me so I am looking forward to the challenge. :)

The neutral colours and composition are really easy to look at, and I have just gone back to look at them and have seen new things...great work!!

  9. Yahoo - more collages! I plan on using my icad to hopefully keep up with collaging - but then my first couple were NOT collages. Just wasn't feelin' it. Love your start and I recognize the book; I have it too! :)
