Post Card Challenge

Last night I made the 11th-hour decision to join Darcy's Postcard Challenge. When she first described the challenge I was totally intimidated and thought there was no way in hell I could take it on.  But all day yesterday it nagged at me, and I stayed up until midnight making my first card.

The project, inspired by the Griffin and Sabine books, is a year long postcard correspondence between two fictional characters. Every week, Darcy will post the name of a country and we all work from there. (This week:  Austria).   I don't know that I'll be able to keep up with the weekly pace, but I'm full of ideas on where I want this to go.

  3. I'm glad you were able to come to a decision about this because your first postcard is great. Now I want to know what's happened to Lily!

    The Griffin and Sabine books are so interesting. This postcard challenge should be fun.

    Glad to know you had a little rest ... glad to know that you NEED rest because you always knock me out by all the colorful splend-ness of your work! On a grey day, you always lift my spirits.
